PROGRAMS FOR 2sEven our youngest of campers will enjoy fun themes to spur messy art, sensational sensory activities, circle time songs and fantastic fine motor exploration. PROGRAMS FOR 3s-4sThese part-day programs are always a big hit in the summer. We take weekly adventures with fun themes that allow our staff to incorporate literacy, science, math and more! Our on-site field trip visitors bring a world of adventure to each camp! PROGRAMS FOR KindergartenWorried about kindergarten in the summer? Worry no longer! Kids Connection certified teachers will educate your students to get them ready for the challenges of kindergarten and put each student at ease for the educational adventure kindergarten will offer! Both weekly and one-day camps are available for our busy school age campers. From Sci-Fi to Art we will explore adventures even our older campers will find fun and educational! Special Needs CampsCamp close to home for your special needs child! Our camps include a speech therapist and occupational therapist, as well as experienced staff. Camps are structured similar to a school day to keep your camper on track during the summer too! Our therapists provide muscular activities to help campers regulate and our speech therapist provides learning challenges during center time. Inclusion with typical campers may occur during large muscle and group activity time.
KaBOOM & KerSPLAT: Week 1 (June 14-17) Be an artist , scientist, or a “artscitologist” for the week! Explore, build, splash and create with art and science. Activities fill this week full of creativity, discovery – and FUN! Barnyard Connection: Week 2 (June 21-24) A moo moo here an oink oink there! There is a lot to do during barnyard week. The consonant and vowel sounds that animals make, the masterpieces created with food they eat and so much more! Hop, oink, nay or tweet your way to camp this week! Recycling Rangers: Week 3 (June 28-July 1) One’s trash can be another’s treasure! Use your imagination to transform common recyclable objects into unique designs. Explore concepts of shape, color, and texture as you heighten appreciation of the environment and make really neat things too. Art Week: Week 4 (July 12-15) Art camp for everyone! Children can create their OWN masterpiece with no limitations on creativity or mess. We will experiment with many messy mediums and let the child use their imagination to create one of a kind ART. Methods and styles of Master Artists will be introduced into each class to incorporate art techniques into our fun projects. Let you child come and enjoy creative fun art! Out of this World: Week 5 (July 19-22) What’s a constellation? Can you build a rocket? There’s no place like space so come and investigate! Munchie Madness: Week 6 (July 26-29) Who said cooking is for the birds or adults? Campers will create healthy muchies while taking a tour of their body and good health. Make fun creations with food to keep and eat! Go home and teach the family all the top chef talents you have! Analyzing Artic: Week 7 (August 2-5) Where is the Antarctic? What lives there? Waddle with the penguins and swim with the seals during this frostbite week. Under the Sea: Week 8 (August 9-12) Do you know how a shell is formed? How about the life of a mollusk? We will create our own ocean habitat to learn about aquatic life. We will also design our own shell artwork too. Under the Big Top: Week 9 (August 16-19) Lions and tigers and bears—oh my! What circus excitement is in store for you? Become a ring master, tame and lion and walk a tight rope in this high-flying camp. All camps are 9:00-12:00 M-TH.

We will learn about food, clothing, everyday life, and unique traditions from these amazing places. Olympic Sports: Week 5 (July 19-22) Get ready for the Olympics. Play our very own Olympic games while learning about sports across the world. These sports are a little crazy, creative and fun. Think out-of-the-box and join our Olympic team! Time Travel Decade Days: Week 7 (August 2-5) Explore the world in a four-day rewind through time! We will begin in the 1950’s and travel decade by decade up to 1980’s. Music, science, what was hot and not! Author Adventures: Week 8 (August 9-12) This camp will focus on fun author facts and various genres. Discover the adventures of Mary Pope Osborne, William Joyce, Barbara Park, Dr. Seuss, Laura Ingalls Wilder and more. Write your own book…will you write an adventure, mystery or fiction? Make your story come alive when you are also the illustrator. End your week with a bound book creation as YOU become the author! Wet Sci-Fi Fun: Week 9 (August 16-19) Don’t be shy! Put your hands in some goo, make water bubble, spirt, change colors, freeze and more while you experience the wonders of science with hands-on creative problem solving. A week of sci-fi water fun awaits you! Kindergarten Readiness Camps: Week 8 (August 9-12) and Week 9 (August 16-19) Letter sounds, letter formation, math, gym, stories and art will get your student ready! While still feeling like a fun summer camp our kindergarten students will leave ready to enter the world of school. All camps are 9:00-12:00 M-TH.
Kindergarten Readiness Kindergarten is a new experience so get a jump but refreshing the minds of our youngest grade school students. Letter sounds, letter formation, math, gym, stories and art will get your student ready! While still feeling like a fun summer camp our kindergarten students will leave ready to enter the world of school. Sign up for TWO WEEKS OF CAMPS TO GET READY FOR THE BIG DAY! Three hours per day (M-TH am). Week 8: August 9-12 and Week 9: August 16-19. Special Needs Camps: Summer is an especially tough time for families with children that have developmental or physical limitations. Whether diagnosed with autism, speech/language, auditory processing or regulation difficulties. Kids Connection has developed a part-day camp that will create an environment to entice your camper. For most of our special students, unstructured time does not create a fulfilling environment. Kids Connection will create a structured, semi-inclusive environment to meet both the physical and cognitive challenges of your camper. We will replicate a school environment with fun summer themes. This camp is great for those seeking a camp close to home, therapists part of the campers day and part-days to allow for flexibility in your schedule. Camp week details coming soon.Scout Badge Programs: Kids Connection now offers our local scouts opportunities to ear try-its and badges. Watch for details coming soon on our new additions for scouts. Tweens Camps (ages 11-14): For our busy young adults we will have a variety of crafting activities during the summer to keep them busy! Enjoy a pizza lunch and supplies. Classes begin at 12:30 and end at 3:30. Minimum 8 per class; see dates below. Jewelry Making (Monday, June 21st): design your own bracelet and bookmark with beads and tools; cost $22 (includes supplies and pizza lunch). Magnetic Boards! (Monday, July 12th) Not just any old memo board, but your own design. Using decorative material and magnets this creative piece of art will be ready to hang when you get home; cost $27 (includes supplies and pizza lunch). Knit it! (Monday, July 26th) Want to learn how to knit? Come and enjoy a lesson with a fantastic instructor. Leave with your own creation. All supplies and pizza lunch included for $22. Card Making Creations!
